This product is designed to support the development of replacement trees and vines within commercial vineyards and orchards to ensure that they not only survive but thrive, produce, and earn earlier than previously possible.

Within a mature orchard or vineyard young replacement trees typically find it difficult to grow due to conditions being suited to mature, producing plants. This means that a number of these plants stall, grow at a slower rate or even die soon after planting.

The H2Ortigator mitigates these risks by providing rootzone shading, physical protection, and most importantly steady long duration micro irrigation to the plant’s roots. This gives these plants the best chance at success while also reducing maintenance and water requirements.

With an innovative product Brendan needed an innovative manufacturing solution. ES Plastics was able to help him with the product and tool design to create the final design for the H2Ortigator that is functional, effective and maximises value for customers. We were also able to provide tool making and production expertise which allowed Brendan to scale up his operations and supply increased volumes of the H2Ortigator to orchards and vineyards.
